Product Evolution

Myriade started in 1991 providing ICT services locally to businesses and educational institutions.

Myriade became a main supplier of scanning and treatment of fines from speed cameras.

When digital cameras became mainstream we starting focusing on delivering solutions for scanning and handling speed infractions for several police forces.

From then on developing software for digital speed cameras and ANPR continued to evolve.

Environment

Myriade is helping to take care of the environment. The first solar panels were installed in 2000, the 391^th installation approved in Belgium by Vreg. Today all roofs have photovoltaic panels. In 2018 we installed heath recuperation from our data center to heat our offices and meeting rooms. During 2021 we started investment in geothermal technology (4.000 m (!) vertical piping); a new heat pump with almost no ozone depleting gasses is up and since 2022. Electrical bikes are available to go to close-by meeting with clients. Charging stations were installed in January 2023 on the public parking lot. We encourage our visitors to use public transport as we are located close to the train station (-50 m). All to help preserve nature.
